“I have been at various types of classes before but always felt a bit out as they went too, fast were for a younger or fitter generation. Now I have found the ideal class that takes time to go through aches and pains and why we do what we do to the body, now I feel part of a group.”
“Thank you for providing this class. It is extremely reassuring to know that the instructors understand the challenges of participants recovering from a stroke. I know my recovery would not have progressed so well without this class, encouragement, and direction.”
“After my heart attack I was pointed in the direction of exercise. These classes have made a huge difference to my fitness, going every week helps keep me diciplined. I'm so grateful for the advice I have had.”
“Good selection of safe exercises geared to our capabilities, to keep us safe. Excellent professional tutors- we are so lucky. Life changing class.”
“I have had a wonderful life in the 16 years since my heart attack, and feel the tailored exercises, by highly qualified instructors, in these classes, have contributed greatly to this. Classes offered by Zoom, starting during Covid restrictions, are an added benefit. I am pleased to see the service being promoted on social media, as I have often thought it should be advertised more widely. The highly specialised qualifications of the instructors, and the tailoring of activities to meet the specific needs of members should be particularly emphasised, as I do not believe other organisations offer classes of this quality. Excellent.”
“Wonderful people, was made so comfortable at my assessment and starting in Dunbar next week, get my old bones into action again! Thank you LWEL.”
“Without attending the class would not have been where I am now, no longer require gabapentin, lydocaine patches to help really bad nerve pain due to degenerative arthritis in lower back. Also due to a voice condition do not always breathe correctly and have been/still am helped with that when need arises. In general gain advice on mobility which is helpful.”
“I have found it to be an excellent facility to increase mobility, balance, and co-ordiantion in my 80s.”
“My mum loves her class so much.”
