Which class is appropriate for me?
Postural Stability
Our Postural Stability (or ‘Better Balance’) classes are designed to aid those who feel their balance is beginning to decline, or those who have recently suffered from a fall. Within the class we work on a variety of different exercises, with the aim of improving your confidence and stability when standing, walking and moving around.
Two instructors per class, please call us on 01224 036560 to arrange your first class before booking.
Level 1
These classes are focused on providing specialist instructor support.
Less challenging than Level 2, this class is designed for those who may have a significant medical condition. Exercises can be done seated but there is some standing for a short period of time. 2 instructors per class. You will need a referral from your GP/consultant/medical practitioner, please call us on 01224 036560 to arrange your first class before booking.
Level 2
The Level 2 classes are based around performing gentle exercise and targeted movement.
More challenging than Level 1, you need the ability to stand and exercise for at least 10 minutes without a rest. Please call us on 01224 036560 to arrange your first class before booking.
Online classes
Online zoom classes started as a result of COVID-19 but many enjoyed the benefits of exercising in the comfort of their own home and so these are now a popular option for many members. Please see the schedule for class times.
